After the contest, he decided he wanted to embark into the world of entertainment. He soon became an international award winning Elvis tribute artist, a World Champion when he won Worldwide Images of the King and more. He was the first African American to win in the World Championship Elvis Impersonator contest beating 100 other competitors. During the Elvis Rocks Mesquite in 2011, Robert fell short and became runner up but he sure didn’t give up. All his hard work paid off when he won the title of Elvis Rocks Mesquite in 2012.
